Mole rosa 12"x12" unframed
Acrylic and mixed media painting on a 1.5” thick gallery-wrapped canvas. This piece is from my “Oaxaca” series, inspired by memories of travels in Mexico. The rich browns, burnt sienna, and pale pink remind me of mole, a delicious, traditional sauce that is served everywhere in Oaxaca.
Finished with a satin varnish for archival, UV protection. Initialed discreetly in the lower right corner and titled and signed on the back. The sides are painted in a color that matches the painting and it has a wire on the back, so it is ready to hang without a frame.
