Inspiration:

This painting is from my latest series celebrating spring, inspired by the fresh feel of stems, leaves, and blooms emerging from the earth.

I was driving along on a beautiful early spring day when “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers came on the radio — you know that feeling when a song perfectly matches your mood?

The sun was streaming through the windows, everything outside was starting to wake up and turn green, and I felt centered, peaceful, and optimistic. I took that energy back to the studio and this painting came into being.

Details:

Acrylic and mixed media painting on 7/8” thick canvas, framed in a raw maple float frame. The dimensions with the frame are 8.5× 8.5”. The frame is 1.5” deep.

Finished with a satin varnish for archival, UV protection. The painting is titled and signed on the back and arrives ready to hang.

Paintings 16x20” and under ship free in the US and Canada. Shipping costs for larger paintings will be invoiced separately when the painting is ready to ship. International shipping is available.
